UF Equipment feed water requirements
The feed water should have a continuous residual chlorine content of less than 1.0 mg/L.
The feed water should not contain anti-foaming agents.
The feed water should not contain algae.
The feed water should not contain settable solid impurities, polymers or abrasive particles.
The influent water should not contain silicone lubricants or other chemicals containing a silicone base.
The feed water should not contain ozone.
The feed water should not contain organic solvents or any other agents that cause damage to the membrane material or structure.

Common Causes of Ultrafiltration Damage
- Aging of the filter cartridge: the high efficiency ultrafiltration membrane will be aging after a long time of use, thus reducing the filtration efficiency.
- Cartridge clogging: poor water quality or more suspended solids in the water will lead to clogging of the cartridge, making the ultrafiltration membrane can not work properly.
- Broken filter cartridge: installing or dismantling the filter cartridge with force will lead to broken filter cartridge, which will affect the filtration effect of ultrafiltration.
- Inconsistent water quality of the filter cartridge: Some ultrafiltration cartridges are designed for specific water quality, using non-standard water quality may lead to damage to the ultrafiltration.
